Community Involvement

The Savage Foundation was established in 2003, as part of our Company's Statement of Purpose to provide a generous donation of time, talent and financial resources to community endeavors in Toledo, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The foundation provides grants and donations to non-profit and charitable organizations committed to improving the quality of life and well being of residents in these communities.

The Annual One-Day Savage Foundation Golf Classic each summer raises almost $100,000 for local charities.  This is one of the largest single-day golf events in the entire Northwest Ohio region and has contributed to over 15 organizations over it's 6 year history, including Central City Ministries of Toledo, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, NW Ohio Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Make-A-Wish, NW Ohio American Cancer Society, Children's Rights Council of NW Ohio, Feed Lucas County Children, Inc., and several more.

This year's event will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Sylvania Country Club.
